We picked another 9 inches on Tuesday bringing the 3 day total to 18 inches, the 8 day total to 46 inches, and the season total to 259 inches up top!
Partly sunny and mild weather today and Thursday ahead of the next storm, with highs in the 40's at base level and 30's on the upper mountain with a breeze.
Friday we will start to see some light rain and snow from an approaching storm, and increasing winds up to 60 mph up top.
Friday night into Saturday and cold front and following low will bring snowfall to the Tahoe basin. The snow should taper off by Saturday night. We could see 5-10 inches at the base by Saturday night, and 10-15 inches up top.
Then we will see a break with mild weather returning Sunday through Thursday as high pressure builds in. Highs will be in the 40's at the base and 30's on the mountain.
We could see another strong and cold storm next weekend, so we will keep an eye on that.
