Angel Wings

mother and child embracing

The relationship with Angel Wings started with Melissa Strolz, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows manager of uniforms, who wanted to start something similar to the uniform donation program that served the local community.

Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows donates extra warm gear and outerwear from retail locations to Angel Wings, a program by the Sierra County Child Abuse Council which assists foster children and transient families in Sierra County with clothing and basic supplies.

Melissa has been an absolute angel about helping us with our program. Anytime at the end of the season if she has materials left she will bring us jackets and gloves and sweaters for our children. We welcome anything that can be used for our families.  Some of the clothing has Alpine Ski logos on the clothing and the kids absolutely love it! Our weather is similar to yours over in Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, so we very much appreciate of warm winter clothes.”
