We will have a brief break in the action today before the next round of snow arrives tonight. We may see some light snow arrive later this afternoon with an inch or two possible before heavier snow pushes in tonight.
Tonight we will have snow to the base. We could see 5-8 inches at the base, and 6-10 inches on the mountain by Saturday morning.
The snow continues Sunday as moisture continues to stream into the area. We could see an additional 4-6 inches at the base, and 7-11 inches on the mountain during the day Sunday.
The snow keeps going Sunday night as a reinforcing wave of precip pushes in. We could see an additional 8-10 inches at the base, and 11-13 inches on the mountain.
The snow should taper off Monday morning. By then we could have weekend totals of 2-3 feet on the mountain.
The winds will be strong up top through Monday, gusting 50-70 mph so there may be wind holds through the weekend.
Tuesday high pressure builds in and that may start an extended period of dry and mild weather with highs in the 40's and 50's.
