Cold with sun today and some snow showers possible this afternoon. Cold with snow showers tonight and lows in the teens. We could pick up 1-3 more inches.
Cold & Sunny
Partly sunny Thursday & Friday with highs in the 20's and light winds. Winds may start to gust near 25 mph up high Friday afternoon.
First Weekend Storm
Friday night through Saturday night we could see light snow showers as a system moves through from the North. We could see 1-3 inches at the base by Saturday night, with 2-4 inches on the mountain. Highs will remain in the 20's.
Second Weekend Storm
We may see a break Sunday with cold air still in place and highs in the 20's on the mountains to near 30 at lake level. Then Sunday night another system passes through from the North. We could pick up 3-6 more inches of snow by Monday morning.
Finally a Prolonged Break?
Starting next Tuesday high pressure builds over CA. We may begin a prolonged dry spell. Temperatures start out cold with highs in the 30's next week, but may warm a bit in the long-range.
