Squaw picked up 5 inches up top from the system that moved through yesterday evening, and Alpine picked up 6 inches. The next storm is already moving onshore this morning and will bring high elevation snows tonight into Saturday.
The snow levels are rising this morning and will start around 9000 feet with this system. They will fall near 8000 feet by Saturday morning and then to 7000 feet by afternoon as the precipitation moves away to our East. Snowfall totals by Saturday afternoon will increase with elevation on the mountains. We could see 1-6 inches above 7000 feet with up to 6-9 inches above 8000 feet.
By Sunday high pressure builds in along the West Coast bringing a period of quiet weather through Thanksgiving day.
We may see a pattern change by the end of next week with the next chance of snow being next Friday into the weekend.
