Sunny and mild today ahead of a weak snow event for tonight into Saturday. Winds will be gusting at 40+ mph through the weekend up top. Highs today will be in the 40's, and then only in the 20's for the weekend on the mountain.
The snow should start during the evening hours tonight, and then continue into the day on Saturday. We could see 3-6 inches at the base by Saturday evening, and 6-10 inches on the mountain.
Then on Sunday a cloudy windy and cool day ahead of the next wave of moisture Sunday night into Monday. This wave could bring light snowfall with 3-6 inches of snow by Monday afternoon on the mountain and a couple of inches to the base.
Heavier precip could push in Tuesday with a 2nd wave of precip. This time the snow levels rise above 7000 feet. We could see over a foot of snow on the upper half of the mountain, and rain at the base by Tuesday night.
Wednesday we could see a break in the action before a cold storm moves in for Thursday and Friday. This storm could bring us a decent amount of snow down to base level. Right now it looks like we could see around 1-2 feet of cold snow.
An additional storm could move in the following weekend.
