We picked up 4 inches overnight from the cold front that moved through. We have lingering snow showers this morning with much colder air behind the front. We will have clouds with the possibility of a few light snow showers into Tuesday with highs in the 30's on the mountain and 40's at the base.
High pressure builds back in by Wednesday with mild temperatures and sun returning into the weekend.
Over the weekend a cutoff low may try to push into CA. It is not clear how successful it will be, but we may have more precip pushing in by Sunday if it is successful. We will keep tracking that this week.
Next week high pressure may break down as a cold trough pushes into the Pacific NW. That could bring us more cooler weather by the middle of next week and the chance for precip.
