4 Inches with 1-3 More Possible Early Monday Morning

Snowfall Report:

The 6 a.m. report had 1 inch at the base and 4 inches on the upper mountain.  We had a few more hours of snow before it ended around 8:30 a.m.  So we may have picked up another 1-3 inches.  The forecast was for 3-9 inches from bottom to top, so pretty close to what we were expecting out of this storm.

Monday will be cold with clearing skies and some sun by afternoon.  The winds may still be gusting over 40 mph in the morning but should ease through the day.  Highs should remain in the 30's.

Tuesday through Thursday high pressure builds in over CA bringing dry and mild weather.  Expect lots of sun with highs in the 40's on the upper mountain, and 50's on the lower mountain.

The Weekend:

High pressure shifts east by Friday opening the storm door back up.  We could see a weak system move in Friday into Friday night bringing a few inches of snow to the mountain.  High temperatures cool back into the 40's

It looks like a break on Saturday with highs in the 40's.  Then Sunday another storm could move in bringing more snow into Sunday night with colder temperatures.  We will look closer at the details of these storms as we get closer.

A trough over the West Coast could bring below average temperatures and more snow from the 24th-28th.
