Snowy Past 7 Days
After 7 more inches reported on the upper mountain yesterday, we have a 7 day total of 31 inches on the upper mountain.
We have a break today with sun and highs in the 40's on the mountain, and 50's at the base. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph on the mountain tops. Wednesday is sunny and milder with lighter winds and highs in the 50's.
More Snow Thursday
Thursday a cold system moves down from the North bring some snow and colder air. Highs will only be in the 30's. Winds could gust to 65+ mph on the mountain tops for Thursday. We could see 1-2 inches of snow at the base, and 2-4 inches on the mountain.
High pressure quickly builds back in Friday and through the weekend with sun and warming temperatures. Highs will be back into the 40's on Friday and 50's for the weekend.
Cooler and Unsettled Pattern Next Week
Next week the weather may become more unsettled and cooler. We may see some weaker storms move through for the first half of the week, and stronger storms possible later in the week.
The next chance for accumulating snows could be next Wednesday and we are watching the possibility of a stronger storm next Friday.
