We will see increasing clouds on Tuesday. Highs in the 40's on the mountains and '50s at the base. We will see clouds start to increase by Tuesday afternoon as the next storm approaches.
Tue Night - Thu Storm:
A weak system pushes in Tuesday night, with scattered showers possibly lingering into Thursday. Snow levels starting around 8,000 feet Tuesday night, falling to near the base by Wednesday morning. Most of the snow should fall Tuesday night into Wednesday, with lighter showers possible Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
We could see rain/snow/rain at the base through Thursday, with an inch or two of slushy accumulation. We could see 3-6 inches of snow on the mountain by Thursday. So a pretty weak system. Highs in the 30's on the mountain Wednesday and Thursday to near 40 at the base.
Friday Night-Saturday Storm:
We could see a quick break between storms on Friday with some sun and increasing clouds as the next storm approaches. Highs in the 30's on the upper mountain and 40's at the base.
The next storm is expected to move through quickly Friday night into Saturday. It could bring another 1-3 inches to the base, and 3-6 inches of snow to the mountain by Saturday afternoon. Highs in the 30's on the mountain to near 40 at the base.
We should see a break in storms again Sunday into Monday. We could see sunny skies with highs in the 30's & 40's.
A slow-moving storm approaches the coast by next Tuesday. It could move through next Tuesday night-Wednesday night. The slow-moving nature of the storm could bring significant snowfall to the mountain. We will be watching this system closely as we get closer.
The active pattern could continue through the first week of April.
