We have already seen 3 inches of snow fall during the early morning hours as a cold area of low pressure pushes into the area.
Snow showers will continue off and on into Wednesday as a cold low spins over the area. The steadiest snow is expected today. We could see 2-4 inches of additional snowfall today.
The snow tonight through Wednesday will be much more scattered and lighter. We could see a coating to inch each of the next 2 days, depending on where the snow showers fall across the region. Temperatures will be cold through Wednesday with highs only in the 30's, and only in the 20's up top.
Then starting Thursday the low moves away and high pressure builds in. Temperatures quickly rebound back into the 40's and 50's with lots of sun going into next weekend.
There is still the chance for a storm next Monday but the latest models track it to our North. There is another storm possible next Thursday. Not much confidence in either at this point.
