After a final 7 inches of snow yesterday Squaw ended up with a total of 56 inches up top and Alpine 55 inches!
We will see nice weather today with some sun and highs in the 30's on the mountains and near 40 at the base.
Tonight into Wednesday we could see some light snow showers. The winds will pick up Wednesday ahead of the next storm with gusts to 50 mph on the mountain tops. We could see 1-2 inches on the mountains tonight into Wednesday morning.
On Thursday it should be cloudy and windy with gusts up to 70 mph. We could see some light precip move in with snow levels around 8000 feet.
Then on Friday the next storm pushes in dropping snow levels to lake level and bring snow Friday afternoon into Friday night. By Saturday morning we could see 6-12 inches of snow on the mountains.
Saturday we could see a break before the next storm brings in snow Saturday night into Sunday, and another wave continues the snow Sunday night into Monday. We could end up with 12-18 inches at the base, and 2-3 feet on the mountains by Monday morning. The winds will stay gusty through the weekend with highs in the 30's on the mountains.
The snow showers should linger into Monday with several more inches possible. Then a break next week from Tuesday through Friday with sun and some milder weather.
We could see another strong storm break into CA the weekend of the 19th.
