23 Feet and Counting...

Category: Weather

Squaw picked up 15 inches from the storm the last 2 days, and Alpine 14 inches.  That brings the totals for the season to around 23 feet, which is around 60% of the seasonal average so far up top.

High pressure will build in today and strengthen over the West Coast through the week.  That will bring lots of sun and temperatures into the 40's by midweek.

The next chance of a storm will be Friday as warm moisture feed from across the Pacific pushes into Northern CA.  The forecast models are still varying on how far South the heavy precip will push Friday into Saturday.  We could see nothing as it stay to our North, or we could see some heavy precip with snow levels at 8000+ feet.

There is better agreement that we could see a colder storm push in next Sunday.

The active weather should continue week 2 with several more storms possible.
