Another 2 feet of snow fell on the mountain in the past 24 hours. That brings the 3 day storm total to 57 inches, and the March total to 146 inches! There are strong winds up top this morning and a high avalanche danger, so expect delays with lift openings today.
The Snow Continues
Snow continues today (Friday) with lighter snow showers lingering into Saturday morning. Highs only in the 20's on the mountain and 30's at the base through Saturday. High wind gusts this morning to 70 mph on the mountain tops should slowly come down into Saturday. We could see another 13-19 inches on the mountain by Saturday morning, and 9-13 inches at the base. That would bring the storm total to 6 feet on the mountain.
A Brief Break
We have some sun Sunday into Tuesday morning. Highs in the 30's on the mountain and 40's at the base. We may see some light rain/snow showers by Tuesday evening.
Wednesday through Thursday night we have another storm on the way. This is storm could start with snow levels around 8,000 feet Wednesday, falling to the base Thursday. Above 8,000 feet we could see another 2-3 feet of snow, and several inches below that depending on the snow levels.
