Cloudy and windy today with the chance of a shower. That will continue into tonight with a better chance of a shower with snow levels above 8000 feet. We could see an inch or two of snow by Friday morning up top. Winds will be gusting around 80 mph up top today.
Friday we will see another chance for rain/snow showers into Friday night with falling snow levels. We could see an additional 1-3 inches on the mountain by Saturday morning. Winds on Friday could gust around 60 mph up top.
Then Saturday the next front pushes in more precip by Saturday night. Snow levels hover near base level and we could see 1-3 inches at the base, and an additional 3-6 inches on the mountain by Sunday morning. Highs Thursday through Saturday will be in the 40's.
Then on Sunday a stronger wave approaches with heavy snow possible Sunday night. The snow showers should linger into Monday before tapering off by Monday night. We could see an additional 12-18 inches at the base with this final system, and 18-28 inches on the mountain by Tuesday morning.
High pressure begins to build in Tuesday with dry weather through the end of next week. Temperatures start out cold with highs in the 30's Sunday through Wednesday, and then moderate by the end of the week.
The next chance of a storm could be next weekend or early the following week.
