We picked up 15 inches of snow up top from the storm overnight, and 3 inches at the base. The snow has tapered off this morning as we have a little break in the action.
A weaker wave of precipitation will move through later today into tonight with some light showers and snow levels above 8000 feet.
Then on Sunday another storm approaches bringing heavier precip and falling snow levels Sunday night. The snow should start during the afternoon and last into the day on Monday. Snow levels will fall to the base by Monday morning as a cold front moves through. The snow will taper off by Monday evening.
We could see another 15+ inches on the upper mountain by Monday afternoon, with several inches possible all the way to the base.
Next Tuesday quiet weather returns for about a weak with moderating temperatures.
There are some signs that we could see more storms the week of the 16th as the ridge of high pressure moves up towards Alaska, possibly allowing storms to push underneath into CA.
