Behind the Storm:
Behind the storm, cold air settles in with highs in the 20's on the mountain Tuesday with some sun. Then sun and 30's for Wednesday.
Thursday we could see a few light snow showers moves through from a weak system that brings more cold air. Highs only in the 20's on the mountain Thursday through Saturday with the sun returning.
Another weak system could bring light snow showers Sunday night and more cold air through New Year's Day.
High pressure may build in over the West Coast with milder temperatures and a dry pattern starting around the 3rd of January. Long-range guidance suggests that storms could return sometime during the 2nd week of January.
