1 inch Overnight and Still Snowing

Category: Weather

Snowfall Report:

The front with the band of snow slowed overnight and didn't arrive until right as we were measuring.  A quick inch had fallen, but it is still snowing this morning piling up some fluffy snow since the measurment.

Snow showers continue today with an additional 2-4 inches of snow possible during the day.  The winds are gusting to 80 mph up top causing lift closures.  Highs only in the 20's so it will feel very cold today.

Saturday Night:

Snow showers continue tonight with 3-5 inches of additional accumulation possible.  So we could have new snow totals of 5-9 inches by Sunday morning.

Sunday it stays cold but the winds should come down a bit up top with gusts to 40 mph.  We could see some sun with scattered snow showers.  We could see another coating to an inch during the day if we see snow showers over the mountain.  Highs still in the 20's on the mountain and 30's at the base.

Next Week:

Monday it stays cold.  Tuesday through next weekend high pressure builds in with lots of sun and a warming trend.  We could see highs into the 30's on the mountains and 40's at the base Tuesday, 40's & 50's for Wednesday, and then 50's into next weekend and possibly the 60's at the base.

The week of the 2nd we could see a cold trough from the North bring some cooler temperatures. We could see some unsettled weather around the 5th-8th of April.
