International Women's Snow Day
SheJumps and K2 invite you to celebrate the 6th annual International Women’s Snow Day on January 12 at Squaw Valley. This is a fun event for all ages and abilities, aimed at introducing women and girls to more ski and snowboard buddies, and simply having a great time out on the snow!
Our goal is to encourage more women and girls to go skiing and snowboarding – friends, sisters, moms, daughters. Whatever brand you ride or ski on, whoever you ski with, and wherever you ride, come enjoy the fallen flakes with your community! It’s your day, so lap the park, take a lesson, have a picnic, hike for pow, go snowshoeing, rip groomers, go sledding, teach a friend to snowboard, get together for après…Whatever you choose, we want you there!
- 9:30am: Meet in front of Dave's Deli for check in.
- 10am: We will head out to ski! Costumes are encouraged! We will ski as a group until noon, then the afternoon is yours to connect with the new women you met and ski at your leisure.
- 3pm: Join us at Le Chamois for après!
On International Women's Ski & Snowboard Day, women from all around the world are invited to get together to celebrate skiing and snowboarding and the power of female camaraderie by having fun on and off the mountain.
