We only allow participants who are 13 years of age and up at this time.
Where do we meet to start our tour?
All tours meet at High Camp, at the top of the Aerial Tram. When you exit the High Camp building, you will see the bikes & guides outside. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow for bike sizing and instruction.

I have never gone mountain biking before, but I can ride a bike. Can I do this?
If you have good bike handling skills, you can do this! Having an e-bike takes the need for great fitness out of the equation. Think of this as more of a scenic tour!
What is an E-Mountain Bike (E-MTB)?
An E-Mountain Bike is a mountain bike equipped with a motor to assist the rider while pedaling, making it less strenuous to ride.
Can I ride my E-MTB on the mountain without a guide?
No, guests are not permitted to ride on the mountain at Squaw Valley if they are not part of a guided tour. Due to the amount of activity on the trails from work vehicles, maintenance crews, and various mountain operations, we require that any bikers are accompanied by one of Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows’ professional guides.
However, guests are not required to rent e-Mountain Bikes and can bring their own Class 1 e-bikes to participate in the tour.
Can I reserve a private tour for just my group?
Currently, we do not offer private E-MTB tours. However, it is possible that you’ll still have your guide to yourselves!
