Can I pay cash for my Ikon pass?

Squaw Alpine is unable to accept cash at this time.

Can my Ikon pass be revoked?

Yes. Your season pass is the property of Alterra Mountain Co. If any Squaw Alpine staff determines that a passholder exhibits improper, endangering or illegal behavior, the pass and all privileges and benefits associated with the pass will be revoked for a specific period up to and including the remainder of the season, dependent upon the nature of the offense at the discretion of the resort staff.

Is there a Senior or Super Senior Ikon Pass?

No. In an effort to streamline the pass product offerings, the Ikon pass will not be available for the senior or super senior age category. The Ikon pass gives guests access to 38 destinations across nine states and four Canadian provinces, an incredible value for a competitive price. While the advantage of a senior discount is being discontinued, tremendous additional advantages are gained with purchase of the Ikon Pass.

Squaw Alpine offers a free, 80+ senior pass

Is there an Ikon adaptive pass?

There currently is not an Ikon pass for adaptive athletes; however, we will continue to offer a Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows specific adaptive pass for the 2019-20 season. This pass is only valid at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows and does not come with Ikon Pass benefits.

Do Ikon Pass and Ikon Base Pass Holders receive discounts?

Yes. Ikon Pass Holders receive 15% off at participating locations in Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. Ikon Base Pass Holders receive 10% off at participating locations in Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. To view the full list of discounts available to pass holders, please click here.

Will Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows continue it’s pass for Active Duty Military?

Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows is now offering a $60 pass for active duty, retired military, and veterans. The cost of the season pass is a donation in support of veteran's mental and physical health through Military to the Mountains, totaling up to $300,000 annually. This pass is not eligible for 2019 spring access. Learn more here.

Why is there no longer a Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows – only pass?

The Ikon pass offers the same skiing and riding benefits at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows while adding 36 more destinations, four more in California alone, all for a similar price to the former Tahoe Super Pass. We are so excited to be able to offer this to our guests. It is a brand new offering and an opportunity for us to streamline and simplify our product offerings. Given that the Ikon Pass is similarly priced, we feel it’s unnecessary to continue carrying the Tahoe Super Pass. In the process of aligning with 36 other mountain destinations, some benefits were lost while many more were gained.

If you have not had Resort Charge with Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows specifically in the past, you must visit one of our on-site ticketing locations upon your arrival to set up Resort Charge for your Ikon pass.

I have the Ikon Base pass and I want to ski on Christmas. Do I get discounted lift tickets on blackout days?
