The history and legacy of Siberia Chairlift

Local Tips For Headwall

Something for everyone

“I love Siberia because you get to the top and it has something for everyone. My favorite is hitting Siberia Run first thing in the morning. It’s got perfect corduroy and a nice transition to the flats”
JT Holmes, pro skier

Unique terrain

“Racers off Siberia has developed some of the top skiers in the world because of its unique terrain. You learn so much about your skis, planning and carving. It looks like a pretty mellow trail for a race course, but that hill has been responsible for so many champions.”
Cody Townsend

A great place to start

“First time I skied Palisades was when I was probably 9 years old with my Mighty Mite coach. Growing up I remember hiking up there and thinking ‘oh man, what am I doing?’ We got up there and my coach started to do hop turns down National Chute and yelled back ‘See! This is a great place to start”. I remember getting to the bottom feeling like I had just conquered the world. It was the greatest feeling ever.”
