Off Sunday and Monday

I first got on skis at the age of three on the legendary “hard-pack” slopes of Cannon Mountain in my hometown of Franconia, New Hampshire. I was lucky to experience alpine skiing on the international level when travelling with my dad, a former U.S. Ski Team coach, to world cup ski racing venues across the U.S. and Europe. I moved to Squaw Valley in 2012, drawn by the sunshine, snow, and unbelievable year-round recreation and soon after fell in love with this passionate and fun-loving community. When seven feet of snow fell over my first Christmas holiday out here, I knew I made the right move!

Off Friday and Saturday

Growing up in the Bay Area, my family made the trek to Tahoe every weekend from December 1 to April 30, starting when I was two and a half years old. I went from crying every morning, hating ski school at Alpine Meadows, to thinking about skiing from the first bell on Monday until Friday when we would return to the mountains. Racing on the Alpine Meadows and later Squaw Valley ski teams into high school, I developed a love for these mountains and was determined to one day make them my permanent home. With the historic winter of 2016-17 being my first as a full-time resident, I am totally stoked to be living here!
