Snowboard Inspiration: I was really into skateboarding and was skiing at the time. In the early 80's I saw a picture of snowboarding in Thrasher Magazine and was blown away. I few years later I found a snowboard at the basement of the general store. I ended up getting that board for Christmas and have been riding ever since.
Favorite Zone: KT-22 is my favorite zone. I have been riding KT-22 for over twenty years and I am still finding new variations. It is my favorite lift in the world.
Favorite Run: Chute 75. It seems like the wind always makes it smooth and the sides of the chute have some of the steepest turns on the mountain.
Earliest Squaw Alpine Memory: Showing up to the mountain on a powder in the early 90's and seeing all my ski and snowboard heroes standing next to me was very surreal.
Best Squaw Alpine Memory: There are so many but my most recent one was bombing Chute 75 on a powder and toward the bottom I looked back to see my kids right behind me throwing up huge sprays.
Go-to Après Spot: The Chammy. I love the history on the walls and seeing old friends there.
Favorite Squaw Alpine Event: Opening day at KT. I breathe easier knowing that lift is running.
Greatest Achievement: Following the local skiers and snowboarders around the mountain.
