Bag Toss

Base Area & High Camp
Bag Toss (A.K.A. Bean Bag Game or Cornhole) is a great American past time that has been around for centuries. Object of the game is to toss the bags so they land on the board or in the hole. 

Slack Line Park

Base Area & High Camp
In addition to being a sport of its own, slacklining is also popular as a training tool for a variety of athletes. As it can help improve core strength, balance, and reaction time, slacklining is common with climbers, cyclists and other athletes. However, balancing on the slackline is also a fun and mentally stimulating activity for all ages. The Squaw Valley Slack Line Park allows for many different configurations and line lengths for easy progression. The lines are situated two to three feet off the ground.  

Croquet

Base Area & High Camp
The classic game of croquet makes its way to Squaw Valley. Drive wooden balls through a series of wickets set out on the lawn. This fun family game will be available free of charge on the grass area outside of High Camp.

Ladder Toss

Base Area & High Camp
Ladder Toss is played with 2 or more players or teams. Each player has 3 golf ball bolas. A bola is 2 golf balls attached by a nylon rope. The object of the game is to wrap your bolas around the steps of the ladder. The ladder consists of 3 steps, a top, middle and a bottom step. 

Hiking

Base Area & High Camp
Ride the Aerial Tram to High Camp or start your journey at the base area and choose from a variety of trails (maps available from Guest Services). Climb to the weathered buttresses atop Squaw Peak, visit the historic Watson Monument at Emigrant Peak, or meander through the meadows covered with wildflowers, and enjoy the panoramic views afforded from Squaw's spacious upper mountain. Disc Golf

High Camp Only
Squaw’s disc golf course includes three beginner holes at High Camp for those looking to get a feel for the game and fifteen extreme holes that wind down Shirley Canyon and back up. Both courses start at hole #1, located next to High Camp. Free with Aerial Tram ticket- no fee for playing our panoramic 18-hole disc golf course. Disc Golf equipment not included- must bring your own. View more details

Geocaching

High Camp Only
Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which participants use a GPS (global positioning system) handheld device to locate more than 430,000 caches or hidden treasure boxes. Free with Aerial Tram ticket. Geocaching equipment not included- must bring your own. View more details

Tennis

High Camp Only
Play tennis overlooking Lake Tahoe on one of two mountain-top tennis courts cradled on a ridge top at el. 8,200’ and accessed by Squaw Valley's Aerial Tram. Use of the courts is free with Tram ticket. Rent racquets and purchase balls at the High Camp Sport Shop. View more details
